India will miss Irrfan Khan.
A child gets fascinated by colors, slow motion scenes & peppy dance numbers when he or she watches a Bollywood movie for the first time. Some gets over it as they grow up, but many of us remain inside the illogical dreamy world. We follow actors who have done below average skills in their movies, just because they got six packs.
I wrote something few days back, on my favorite movie ‘THE LUNCH BOX’ & why i love it. I was shocked & i had tears on my eyes hearing the demise of Irrfan Sir. Always thought, i will meet him one day, but its not gonna happen, never ever.
Bollywood is somewhat turning into all about, dance numbers, YouTube views, bodybuilding, designer clothes & what not inappropriate for an artwork to be delivered to the audience.
Throwing parties to buttering each other on Instagram, they are turning into celebrities, not actors & its their personal choice. But when it comes to Irrfan Sir, it was all about art & talent. His acting could bring in the actual movie lovers in to the theater. I am happy that i did watched HINDI MEDIUM on big screen, Because we have very few theaters in Kerala playing low budget Hindi movies. Post Corona times, i hope people will change their negligence towards, low budget movies with great scripts & actors who actually act.
Hopping for a future where people are appreciated when they are alive.
RIP Irrfan Sir….
