The sun is not like rest of the solid planets, stars, comets, natural satellites like moon, & everything else in our galaxy. It’s plasma, the fourth state of matter.
The most important source of energy for life on Earth. The Sun fuses about 600 million tons of hydrogen into helium every second.
Scientists says in the last 4 billion years, the Sun has barely grown by perhaps 20 percent at most. We, I mean the 2020 people are not gonna witness the end of the world, I am not brilliant enough to say ‘for sure’.
Other studies says that, if the level of hydrogen drops down & eventually run out of it, Sun wont be able to provide the energy for the existence of any life on earth. This mean the Sun can die, if it runs out of hydrogen.
In a few billion years from now, the Sun will enter what is known as the Red Giant phase of it’s evolution, then the oceans will boil, the ice caps will melt, & the atmosphere will lose it’s water vapor.
Imagine how lucky some of us are, we are not gonna get burned alive, we have a wonderful life right now. I know life is not full of happiness, but it is……….. wonderful.
So until we live on Earth, be thankful for the fresh air, sunshine, rain, flower, co-species & a million other things she gift us every day, totally free of cost.
Love her & she will make you feel special everyday.
